K is for Kids’ spokespersons, students from from FGCU and Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology, recently represented the Foundation at a special book signing benefiting the Foundation. The event was hosted by Classroom Plus in Naples.“Carrots for Charlie” authors Rhonda Brazina and Ida Margolis generously donated 200 copies of their debut book about the lovable pup Charlie to K is for Kids. The books will be distributed to school libraries and children throughout Collier and Lee counties.
Watch for videotaped interviews with the authors and young Collier County elementary school student, Thalia by Rene Pastir, social media correspondent for K is for Kids. Rene also speaks with K is for Kids spokesperson, John Maloney, an FGCU senior majoring in communications.
