K is for Kids’ will be saluting its top teen leaders, student spokespersons, interns, and scholarship winners at a reception to be held May 31st at the Hilton Hotel.

The 2nd Annual Y.E.S. Comp (Young Entrepreneur Scholarship Competition) wraps up tomorrow with the finalists giving presentations.  The first, second and third place winners will be announced at the end of the reception.  Scholarships for $1,000, $500 and $250 will be awarded.

Also, the winner and runner-up will be announced for the first K is for Kids Teen Illustrator Contest. Five finalists presented their interpretative illustrations for children’s book “White Moon, Purple Sea and the Underwater Circus”.

Over a dozen student leaders and interns will be recognized for with certificates of achievements and internships. (Eight are unable to attend the event.)
