Teen Advisory Team Meeting

If you’ve never had the chance to visit this world class resort in the heart of Naples, you will enjoy the exquisite facilities and beautiful backdrop for our k4kids Teen Advisory Team Meeting! PLUS all volunteers will get the opportunity to help produce our Public Service Announcement for television as Alpha Media will be videotaping today! We need writers, marketers, spokespersons and helping hands. Our fundraising theme is “Readers are leaders in school, sports and life!” so all students and athletes who would like some low key experience speaking in front of the camera, this is your opportunity. Note: Younger children and adults are welcome but high school teens will be given reservation preference as we recognize their need to earn community service hours for college applications. Prep 4 PSA!
Gather into groups and get creative as you bounce ideas around for our Public Service Announcement. Think about why it is important to “encourage today’s readers and inspire tomorrow’s leaders” — yes, if you’ve watched our home page video, being part of the Team includes having fun with friends while volunteering for the community, so you may choose to be videotaped together with a friend. Just have fun trying out different ideas!
