Florida Gulf Coast University student athletes approached K is for Kids to partner with them for a Civic Engagement project promoting healthy habits for children.
It was perfect timing: A darling story about a puppy who gets chubby and then regains his health and happines had just been published into a children’s book by authors Rhonda Brazina and Ida Margolis. The two writers were donating books to K is for Kids and were thrilled with the chance to work with FGCU students. Here is the link to see a preview by Rene Pastir, Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology student, of what’s yet to come in a series of videos created by the students.
