K is for Kids Teen Advisory Team members (L-R) Cory Jones, Haylee Lamb and Amber Valcante hold Proclamations from the City of Naples designating February as K is for Kids “Bring a Book, Bring a Friend for Children’s Literacy Month.”
Mayor Bill Barnett made the announcement during city council’s January 19 meeting. It’s the third consecutive year for the proclamation. During February, the non-profit organization will feature book collection drives throughout Collier County and its 3rd Annual “Kids Celebrate Reading” Book Fair, Saturday, February 12 from 12noon – 4pm at Barnes & Noble, Waterside Shops.
