K is for Kids’ senior student leader and spokesperson, Gabriella Manuszak, went live on WGCU Radio with fellow student leader Jake LaRochelle.
Both students are in 12th grade at Barron Collier High School.
Each year WGCU invites local nonprofit organizations to go live on air to help support their radio pledge week while giving the charity an opportunity to tell listeners about their cause.
Although this was Gabriella and Jake’s first radio interview, it was not their first appearance as spokespersons for K is for Kids — most notably the duo served as emcees for the foundation’s most popular student fun’raiser held each February, the annual K is for Kids “From the Heart” Teen Fashion Show.
