2015-16 Sets Records, Again!
Comcast – Headline Sponsor since 2011!
Comcast continues to make a powerful impact each year on our young growing organization. Each year Comcast helps our foundation’s teen leaders and student spokespersons spread their grassroots cause across Southwest Florida by donating airtime for their student-produced PSAs-Public Service Announcements. In 2015, Comcast donated close to $77,000 in airtime. Thank you, again, Comcast for being an impassioned supporter of K is for Kids’ Readers and Leaders program!

The Clawson Family, founders & top supporters!
K is for Kids’ roots were laid in 2002-03 when the Clawson kids were young students at Laurel Oak Elementary School. Seeing a need for more books in their school library, they began collecting books and the money to buy books with the help of their mother, Karen through Bring a Book, Bring a Friend(r) Fun’raisers. The event was held for four years before their efforts expanded to benefit more schools across Collier County under the umbrella of the newly formed K is for Kids Foundation. Patrick and Erin, shown above, became the nonprofit organization’s first student leaders. Thank you, Clawson family, for all your years of support! In 2015, in addition to countless volunteer hours, the family donated more than $28,000; covering business expenses and expanding the foundation’s scholarships for student leaders.
